I tried this three times with different pictures and all three of them came out with these results. Most people say he looks like Kevin but this proves I am part of the mix!
A long time ago, my cousin asked me to upload a video of Owen to the blog. I finally got around to learning how to use the video mode on my new camera so here is a clip of him from this morning. He is "talking" to Gigi and me right after a morning nap.
Today is a special day for two reasons in our family. It is Gigi's birthday and Heath and Lauri Beth's anniversary! Hope today is special for all of you!
One of my friends is starting her own photography business and she came over last week to practice on Owen. He was a little fussy (this was before our magical formula change) so she is going to come back next week to take some more. Here is a few from her first visit...
Hopefully this is a sign that the new formula is working. He slept better last night than he has in a long time which means we got a little more sleep than normal!
I can't believe Owen was four weeks on Thursday! His sleeping schedule is still not great- he is having a really hard time in the evenings. We are on our third formula to see if it will help ease his tummy pains. The formula we started today is for babies with colic- hopefully we will see good results soon! We are also using Gripe Water and Mylicon. I am open to any other suggestions and remedies!!!
Tucker and Ashley came and to spend the night and cook dinner for us last weekend. We had a great time relaxing and enjoyed our steaks! Tucker got to experience feeding an infant and did quite well with it. Here are some pictures from their visit.
On another note, Striker has become very protective of Owen. He has to be wherever Owen is and constantly follows me around when I am holding him. When Owen cries, Striker looks at me like I need to make it stop, then runs and gets his toys to bring Owen. This is his favorite spot when I am feeding Owen.
